In all honesty, there's no real point in speaking questions if the answer is impossible to find. Yet, I wish to hear other's opinions.

Here's some that have been nagging me lately.
+What would the world be like if one saw in only black and white (and gray)?
+If it was an option to know the exact time of one's death, would it be better to not know?
+What's it like to live in a world of Silence? (aka Deaf) or in a world of Darkness? (Blind)
+Is it better to have memories and be tainted by the past, or to have none and be "clean"?

There's more, but they elude me at this moment.
Oh, feel free to post your own questions or whatever one wishes to call them.
And these don't have to be answered. I just want to make some people think, make them form their own opinions.

Actually, all of those questions could be answered because there are people that fit that kind of life.

+ some people are born without color vision or lose it later on in life
+ people who are dying from a terminal disease sometimes have the privilege of knowing how long they have to live
+ deaf people can most certainly still speak and read lips and therefore communicate what their world is like / and blind people can obviously speak and hear so they too can explain what it's like
+ lastly, victims of memory loss can most definitely tell you what it's like to not be able to remember

Personally, I think the loss of color, hearing, sight, and memory is a terrible thing because then we only get half of the picture called Life. Memories are very important, even if they're terrible ones simply because we learn from them whether they're our mistakes or someone else's.

Very true. I'd put some "unanswerable ones" (in my opinion) but my brain's dead. xD

And I'm aware some people are born like that. But the thing is, people who are born Deaf, Blind, or Colorblind usually don't experience what other people do unless they undergo surgery. I don't think colorblindness can be fixed, though. (I could be wrong, I usually am. xD )
But what I ment is that, what if after a life spent in color or sound, what would it be like to suddenly loose it?
True, memory loss victims can say how they feel. And yeah, some Deaf people can lip read, but not all. Lip reading is really hard D: so the Deaf usually prefer Signing or other easier forms of communication.

Good point. People say that memories shape who a person is.

Uwa. Really? Hm. Learn something new everyday. :'D

Oh, I thought of another one, well not really.
I've been looking at the stars lately. They say that some stars are dead planets that have long since died off; yet we can still see their light. Because the distance between us and them is so great, the fact that the planet is no longer there hasn't reached us yet. So does that mean that whatever life was on that planet died when the planet died? Or is it still alive when one looks at the stars that glow despite having no origins anymore?
God, sorry. ._.;;

Thanks Arezu.

Oh. Another food for thought:
Is there really such a thing as something "pointless"? Can an item, or even a person for that matter, be deamed "pointless"? But then again, I guess this is part of that fate and destiny belief. Hm, but I don't mean to go into that. I mean, if something was created, or born, then it can't be pointless, right? If it was pointless, then surely the life would not have bothered to be created/born in the first place....
Right? But then again, that's what people call "destiny". Gah.
Stupid self-confersation-circle.

I paused to think of how the night sky would look like in thousands of years...: dark and empty. I realized then, how, a millenia ago, there were so many more stars in the sky. It was so much brighter than it is now. But now, the stars have dimmed and gone. It made me sad to realize that the night sky would be so empty one day.

I have a question to add to this, but unfortunately it might make the boys feel a bit uncomfortable so I'll just leave it at that lol. It's a question mainly meant towards the girls lol. None the less, interesting theories you have there Reficul. One could say that the same thing, like your theory with the stars, can be said about the ocean. Water used to surround a lot more on this planet, and as time goes on, it seems to fade just a bit more, hence the mountain formations. The mountains are shaped the way they are because of the water that had passed through them eons ago. So if we are losing the stars, are we also going to lose the water that we have left in the ocean as well? An empty sky, an empty mass of land without water, makes you wonder what the next types of lifeforms could be next after we humans vanish. Though we all know the roaches and Chuck Norris will have the answer!

Thank you.
And I never really thought about the ocean like that. That's a good theory. Like the Grand Canyon and the mountains. But some mountains formed from the land itself and not water, right? The volcanoes above ground can also produce mountains.
But that'd be a lonely place. A place without bright stars and a land desolate of water.

Volcanic grounds can definitely be another way of how some mountains are formed. That would indeed be a lonely place. Kind of makes you wonder if a planet like Venus, which is supposed to have a very volcanic and poisonous atmosphere was once like our planet full of water and trees and that sort of thing.

Maybe. "The Universe" on the history channel frequently talks about the other planets and how they might've been and how they could be. It's real interesting.
But I have to wonder, would it be wise for us to explore the deep reaches of space to find a fellow live form out there? What if their life is peaceful and happy, would we, as a race, not ruin it?
There's a saying, "I can imagine a peaceful world with no wars and the people are as happy as can be. And I can imagine us attacking that world because they would never suspect it."
Even when we try to be "helpful" we usually end up making scars and deepening the wounds. I fear that if we find extraterriestrial life, then we would just harm and hurt them! The government would surely capture some of them to do experiments! I shiver at the thought of such cruelty that our race is capable of.

That reminds me of an episode of The Outer Limits where the human race had destroyed another planet on accident, not knowing what they were truly doing to the extraterrestrial's environment. You're probably very right about the government. They're practically our negative side all in one lump sum lol. I'd like to see life beyond ours...However, I do agree that I would rather not interfere. After all, we wouldn't want them interfering with us either as it could indeed cause problems for the both of us in the end.

Never heard of the show, but it sounds interesting. xD
Ahahah. They basically are, or well, they can be if they are led by the wrong person, the government I mean. Same here, though. It would be amazing to see life other than ours, no matter how big or small they may be. A life is still a life, you know?
Oooh. I can't even imagine the bad things that might happen if we were to interfere with another life form's world. Who knows how bad things'll go down? Because I surely doubt we'd be able to negocitate things peacefully. We can hardly do that on our own planet. ._.

On a separate note, has anyone else noticed how clouds look like a painting? Against the sky, the clouds seem so close, yet one can't touch them. They are shaded just perfectly that they look like the painting on a canvas. And like a painting, you can see it, but you can never really touch it; you can't touch the painting, only the surface upon which was painting on. I wonder what triggers our minds to see things in the clouds?

lol You might like Outer Limites. It's like the Twilight Zone but in an hour long episode rather than thirty minutes lol. My dad was really big into the show. It comes on still on the sci-fi channel...or now called the syfy channel. I hate that they changed their logo >< Anyways as for the clouds, it's kind of like a painting that someone seems to have a hard time getting just perfect. Like you'll see it in one way in the morning, and then it completely changes later on as the day progresses. And then on clear days you could say it's artist's block XD I guess you can say there aren't any talented painters in Yuma. I wish we had rain lol.

Hahah sweet. And i think their new logo is pretty cool. I love how they make the "syfy" out of different things. Have you seen that yet? How one of them is a bunch of liquid balls joining together. I think another one is butterflies or something. =/
Good point. :O One could also say that the way the painting is veiwed depends on the mood of the onlooker. Hahaha, if a clear day is an artist block then surely Yuma has many of those! Ah, but didn't it rain a few weeks ago? It did at my place, at least.
But if there were many talented painters in Yuma, then the sky would be riddled with clouds and they would cluster together and form storms! Lightning can be very scary. D:

Oh, I've been listening to this song lately: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2sd8UMUaIk

And I have to pause to wonder, what if one was the only one left? Or if the rest of humanity was unreachable. Would that person go insane? They say that the human mind depends, needs, to communicate with others. Otherwise the person goes mad. I wonder if that is true. Surely just the loneliness would be almost unbareable, even for people who are unbothered by loneliness.
I wonder if it would be better to die with your mind intact, or to die lost in some world a mad mind has created? Maybe it just depends on the person and their will.
